If you are a regular commuter, then you must have noticed that most mathrees rarely play gospel music...unless it is a Sunday.

Play lists on mats tend to be bongo, reggae, R&B or soul.

But this is changing. The latest entry to the market, Exodus, under City Tram, is playing on a different field. Plying the city centre-Umoja route, Exodus only plays gospel musi, especially during morning hours.

Speaking to Ma3 Culture, one of the crew, Ernest Wainaina, said; “We play other types of music during the day, but morning hours, between 5am all the way to 11am, it is purely gospel.”

With the National Transport and Safety Authority pushing for the scrapping of some features including mufflers and whistlers, Exodus crew are not worried because their nganya is not noisy, and has a little graffiti, besides boasting of a disciplined crew.

Exodus is also fitted with free Wi-Fi and sports quality sound system and CCTV cameras.
