No harm intended, says Mutahi Ngunyi.
After a week of hitting out at the Luo community, the political analyst has apologized on his Twitter account.
The full tweet read; “I apologize to the LUO NATION unreservedly. No harm INTENDED. I am a product of Luo SCHOLARS whom I RESPECT immensely. I eat the HUMBLE PIE.”
It all started when political temperatures were being salted by the sugar debate and a Twitter post appeared on Mutahi’s account reading; “Raila should be put on TRIAL. The JUDGE: poverty stricken LUOs. And LUHYAs craving his bondage. CHARGE: selfishness, selfishness, selfishness.”
That was the beginning of a three-day long tirade on Twitter.

Following the Twitter rant, Law Society of Kenya (LSK) boss Apollo Mboya on Monday asked the National Cohesion and Intergration Commission (NCIC) to investigate political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi over the alleged inciting remarks.
A request that was once again countered by Ngunyi with the tweet, “Apollo Mboya should be FIRED for abuse of office and demeaning the law profession. If he passed his law school, he should re-read my tweets.”
