With the Christmas festivities here with us and the spirit of goodwill engulfing the country, a number of celebrities have now forgone their flashy living and humbly decided to give back to the society.

On Friday, singers Jaguar, Sauti Sol, Jua Cali and Size 8, as well as Radio Maisha Presenters and the Pulse Magazine crew were at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for a charity drive dubbed Konnect Na Mtoi in which they made cash and material donations to tens of children admitted at the hospital.

And on Saturday, another lot led by Music Copyright Society of Kenya CEO Maurice Okoth, P Unit's Frasha and Wyre joined other donors at the Bondeni Children Rescue Centre, in Mavoko, Machakos County where they also made some donation to the home.

The orphanage hosts over 40 children aged between two years and 17.
