Simplicity and mass appeal has always been Jose Chameleone’s selling point and in this new video, Wale Wale, the Ugandan star wins the hearts of his East African fans with this Swahili laced video that is set in a village.

Savyfilmz and the singers production stable Leone Island invites us in as the video kicks off with a colourful scene with thatched houses, old women weaving baskets and children playing before it all transcends into a celebratory dance scene with Chameleone being backed up by his well-choreographed dance team.

It works the emotions of the viewer as it brings out pictures of the social issues affecting Africa yet managing a triumphant mood, making the video a happy one, something many directors have hardly thought of.

The transition is well thought out. The theme is well executed, and the editing is perfect. Besides a few shadows created by the scorching sun, the creative scenes kill the ordinary Chameleone video monotony, bringing out the new African star he is trying to rebrand himself to be.

By the time the video hits 2.20 minutes, the viewer is totally hooked and even carried away as the African drums and street dance gets the village into a craze. This one cuts across all ages and there is no doubt video director Shasha Vybz killed it.
