Love is surely a beautiful thing and Avril seems to have found the love of her life. Having started off her music career in Ogopa Deejays, Avril’s musical career grew by leaps and bounds which saw her become one of Kenya’s favourite female artists.
Despite many men trying to court her, Avril finally settled on a South African man from the Zulu tribe. At first she did her best to keep the relationship away from the public domain, but the paparazzi swiftly sniffed her love life out.
On Valentines day, she received a diamond engagement ring, news which she promptly shared with her fans on social media. While many thought they would soon get married she made it clear:
“The wedding will not be that soon. He is Zulu and I am Kikuyu and there are some cultural things involved in the entire process”
Last Friday, Avril was gifted with a red sleek Mercedes Benz and she flaunted it to the world saying “What a lovely surprise. Thank you!”
In a previous interview she had mentioned that her first car would be “a red top of the range ride” and her wish seems to have come true.
