Today will see crews from Thika assemble at the recording venue at Club Nanazi Upper Road for preparation for the regional recording scheduled for tomorrow the 28th of august.

Thika is the last of the four regions the competition was set to run in prior to the grand finale to be held later in September in Nairobi. The other three regions already concluded and representatives for the same selected.

During the rehearsals, teams will be tutored on how to properly utilize the stage by the OBYS choreographer who is also the creative director. The rehearsals are very important more to the crews than for OBYS team as they help the crews familiarize with the stage and be more at ease during the competition.

Teams also get to interact with the whole OBYS crew on rehearsal day therefore helping eliminate tension between the two as we view this as promoting talent rather than competition. There after the crews will be allowed to leave to prepare for the big day where their dance prowess will see the best crew secure a position in the finals to compete with lead teams from other regions for the coveted 5 million grand prize. But this far, all teams have conquered in their own specific way.
