Actress Nini Wacera and singer Kaz will have to start shopping for a new production house to host their controversial show, The Spread.
This is after What’s Good Network decided to drop their show following Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua’s post on Facebook. Mutua posted that kfcb will “carry out investigations to establish whether the programme was ever produced and whether the regulations guiding content production and distribution of film content meant for public exhibition were followed, the Board has established that the production was set to be distributed on WGNTV, a global video on demand service with a presence in Kenya’s cyber space.”
Tilo Ponder, the Chief Editor has since denied any intentions of airing the show.
Part of the message posted by Ezekiel Mutua on his Facebook page, also clarified that: ‘The show hosts, Nini and Kaz are not lesbians.”
