Pulse: Describe your style?

Thiery: Laid back and ready to have fun.

P: What inspires your style?

T: Colours, nature, celebrities like Justin Timberlake and my mood.

P: Do you consider yourself fashion forward?

T: I am fashion conscious but not really fashion obsessed.

P: What is the most weird fashion trend you have ever rocked?

T: Do you not find my Afro a bit weird?

P: Who is the best dressed person you have ever met?

T: Of course my Yolo show co-host, Lola; she is simple yet sophisticated and smart.

P: What is fashion to you?

T: An expression of inner sense and emotion. It is like silent poetry.

P: If you were to raid anyone’s closet, who would fall victim?

T: Justin Timberlake. I love his contemporary twist on the ‘50s hipster pants, striped dress shirt, wife-beater and suspenders.

P: What is the most important piece in your closet?

T: My sun glasses. I have a couple of designers like Maui Jim, Prada, Rayban Wayfarer, Fendi and Oakley.

P: What fashion trend would you rather be caught dead wearing?

T: Baggy jeans. I do not have a problem with them, I just do not think they would complement me well.

P: Your fashion motto is . . .

T: Don’t dress to impress, relax in your best.

P: Where do you shop?

T: I do not have a specific place where I shop but when I am done I am always happy with the choices I make.

P: Which fashion designer inspires you?

T: Iona McCreath of Kikoti and Jomo Kenyatta of Nomadic. It is just amazing to have teen designers.

P: Your ideal date would be dressed in . . .

T: I wouldn’t mind whatever she wore as long as she made it for the date.
