The Kenyatta University student governing body has entered into talks with the health ministry to supply more condoms to the institution.
According to the health department chair Ryan Tei, only 10,000 condoms are being supplied to KU monthly.
“We want to ask the ministry to increase the number to at least 100,000 per month, since the population of our institution has greatly increased” Tei told Campus Vibe. However, according to Daniel Odhiambo of the I-Choose-Life-Africa KU chapter, the problem is not condom supply, but misuse.
