MTV’s popular show, Shuga will have fans across Africa glued to their screens yet again with a new season to air soon. The show sensitizes youths on HIV, sex and staying safe as they engage in risky behavior. The show has been graced by our very own Lupita Nyong’o in season 1, Brenda Wairimu and Nick Mutuma to name a few in the previous seasons.
“Fans stand up. Season 5 is coming your way, the story will be set in South Africa. Y'all are not even ready,” Nick Mutuma revealed on his social media.
The show’s details still remain sketchy as MTV are yet to reveal the new cast and direction the 5th season will be taking. The new season will be set in South Africa unlike the previous one which was shot in Nigeria.
Nick Mutuma will also be starring in a new collabo series between Kenya and Nigeria called ‘This Is It’ set to air soon.
