Zakayo Wangai, the head teacher said the health ministry needs the school to repair roofs of all classes, paint walls and put up new classrooms and pit latrines.
“We require eight latrines for boys and eight for girls. Building hosting standard four and five were condemned earlier," he said.
"Pupils are forced to use a computer lab which is congested and the desks are not enough."
He appealed to the national government and well-wishers to help them raise funds to repair and put up new structures at the school.

“CDF has promised to give us more funding. We hope a solution will be reached soon,” he said.
Public Health Officer Bethsheba Sifuna's team inspected the school early May and gave a closure notice of 28 days if the health conditions are not met.
The school was established in 1915, but has never had a facelift since, save for a twin girls dormitory and two classes that were set up by CDF kitty.
It has over 700 pupils and 17 TSC teachers.
