The Kenyan defense forces are tonight celebrating what they have
described as 'the best attack ever' since the launch of the operation in
Somalia to crush the al-shabaab rebels last October.
Military
spokesman colonel Cyrus Oguna says intelligence information led to a
helicopter gunship attack that killed an unknown number of al shabaab
fighters and destroyed their vehicles at dalayet as the militants
prepared to attack the Kenya defense forces. On homeland security,
police are investigating whether al shabaab was involved in an incident
in Garissa yesterday where a hooded man attacked a hotel killing two
people.
