Despite caning in schools having been banned by law a decade ago, a nine-year-old pupil at Kangoya primary school in Kiambu has Thursday succumbed to injuries allegedly inflicted on him by a teacher in a caning incident. The class four boy is alleged to have been punished for misusing an exercise book.
