The Jubilee Party on Friday issued an update on the health
of Secretary-General Raphael Tuju who is currently admitted at the Karen
Hospital.
Through a statement sent to newsrooms, the party stated that
Tuju is responding well to treatment and has made good progress so far.
Further, Jubilee divulged that Tuju’s family has expressed
satisfaction with the care the former legislator is getting.
“He is responding well to treatment and making good progress
in his recuperation.
“As a party, we are in close contact with his immediate
family and they have expressed satisfaction with the level of care being
provided,” read the statement signed by Communications Director Albert Memusi.

Jubilee also thanked the team from Kijabe Hospital for their
support and quick intervention after the accident.
Tuju was on Wednesday involved in a road accident at Kijabe
along Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.
He was headed to Kabarak for the late President Daniel arap
Moi’s burial.
His Prado collided with a matatu. Tuju had emergency
surgery at Kijabe Hospital before being airlifted to Karen Hospital in
Nairobi.
