A 26-year-old expectant woman died after jumping from a moving ambulance on Saturday 25 January, in Kajiado County.
According to Citizen, Naiso Leslie jumped out of the ambulance after her two-year-old son, Solomon Leslie, died while heading to the hospital.
In a report by the police, Naiso jumped and sustained multiple injuries after she saw that her son’s condition had worsened.
“On reaching at the location of the accident, the mother of the ailing child opened the rear door of the vehicle upon sensing that the boy condition was worsening, she jumped out of the moving vehicle and as a result, she sustained multiple injuries,” read the report.

The boy died upon reaching Kajiado Referral Hospital while the mother succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
Their bodies were taken to the mortuary while the ambulance was taken to the Kajiado police station for further inspection.
