A section of Embasaki residents took it to the streets on Monday morning December 2 and burned tyres in a bid to protest the poor state of roads.
Residents, especially from Fedha, Nyayo, Tassia and Kwa Ndege areas have raised the complaints for months now.
Using the hashtag #RepairFedhaRoad on various social media platforms, residents have listed their concerns on the poor state of the roads which have been worsened by the ongoing heavy rains.

In a video seen by Ureport, Embasaki residents who have had enough decided to burn tyres to get the attention of their leaders.

Some social media users even took to Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino’s and Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s social media handles asking them to do something about the state of the roads.
