A 23-year-old man was arraigned in court for calling his mother a prostitute and threatening to kill her after a night out during the Mashujaa celebrations on October 20.
Alex Kilungya arrived home on Monday, October 21 at around 5.00 am when his mother Jackline Mumbua Muli was still asleep at her house in Kaloleni Estate, Nairobi.
After knocking the door for a while with no response, Kilungya started banging the door loudly and called the mother a ‘stupid prostitute.’
Alex got angry, and by the time his younger sister, Ann Mutheu, opened the door for him, he had already broken the windows.
The suspect is reported to have grabbed a sufuria and threatened to kill both his mother and the younger sister.
