Members of the public have been warned against buying a number of laptops that were listed in local dailies on Thursday.
An anonymous advertiser stated that the 1,140 laptops were stolen in May from the Inland Container Depot (ICD) Nairobi.
“This matter has already been reported to the Inland Port Police Station Nairobi under OB No. OB 16/22/05/2019.
“Members of the public are urged not to buy any of the laptops having below serial numbers and if they come across such a laptop, they should report to the nearest police station,” read the advert.
