A family in Kitui is mourning the demise of two siblings after they were stung to deat by bees.
Reports indicate that the swarm of bees descended upon the home and attacked the mother and her four children.
Unfortunately, two of her children succumbed to injuries while the other two are in hospital.
Area police boss Anthony Kamitu confirmed that the woman is admitted at the Kitui Level Five Hospital where she is getting treatment.

“It is a bizarre incident. I am told the bees were very violent,” he said.
According to some locals, the bees attacked specific individuals and also terrorized neigbours.
“The way the bees reacted was unusual. We don’t know how they attacked the village. They were attacking selected individuals at a time and they were many,” said a local resident.
The bodies of the two children were taken to the Kitui Hospital Mortuary.
