A Modern Coast bus that was on its way to Mtito Andei on Saturday burst into flames while in Kwale County.
The bus is reported to have been empty at the time of the incident.
Police are investigating the incident that occurred at around midnight that involved the bus with the number plate KBZ 820N.
Kwale County Commissioner Karuku Ngumo said the bus was on its way from Mombasa.

“No one was injured as it would appear that the bus had no passengers at the time,” he said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
