Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu’s wife Susan Wangare was on Wednesday released on a Sh80,000 cash bail.
She was charged at the Nairobi City Hall court after being arrested in connection to illegal and unapproved construction of buildings in Nairobi.

Waititu is vehemently opposed to the ongoing demolition of buildings put up on riparian and road reserves.
On Sunday, the popular Governor termed the demolitions as a big loss of resources to investors both foreign and local.
He called on relevant authorities to focus on diverting the course of the rivers instead of demolishing the structures.
