A fatal accident along the Nakuru – Eldoret Highway involving a trailer and a bus has claimed more than 30 lives and left scores injured.
The bus, belonging to Matunda Sacco was headed to Nairobi from Busia before is collided with the trailer as it attempted to overtake.
So far, more than 30 bodies have been recovered from the crash.
The driver of the trailer and his loader are among those dead.
The crash, which occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday also left 18 others seriously injured.

Rescue operations are still ongoing.
Injured persons were rushed to Nakuru Level Five Hospital and Molo Sub- County Hospital.
