An MCA spent Easter in the police cells. Police were probing allegations that the MCA blocked a contractor from graveling a road within his ward demanding a Sh1.5 million kickback.
The MCA was arrested on Saturday afternoon after the contractor filed a complaint at Wanguru Police Station.
But the driver defied the MCA leading to a standoff. The contractor then protested. Mwea East Sub-County OCPD Kizito Mutoro confirmed that the suspect had been asked to record a statement.
