Jaguar Petroleum scored a convincing 6-3 win over Dudutech Nameguard to win the Moi Cup at Manyatta Polo Club, on Sunday in Gilgil.

It was a day speedy Ben Stonewigg beat his markers who included Hiromi Nzomo and 15-year-old Archie Camm to score two crucial goals that ensured they scooped the victory.

The winners’ other goals were through Izzy Stichbury (two), Kaila MIllar and Joe Kamau.

All the three goals for Dudutech Nameguard came through William Millar, all spread through the three chukkas.

William Millar‘s pony was voted as the Most Valuable Pony at the three-day event.

“Although we lost, I must thank my parents for allowing me to train and become a good player,” said Archie Camm, who was the youngest player in the tournament.

Camm was a joy to watch as his swift defensive skills reduced their losing margin in the match.

Winebox won the play-offs after 5-4 victory over Sanlam Investments after a good start in the initial matches.

After a series of three round-robin matches, Tack Rack beat Bakuli Blue to win the Martin Kesier Memorial Championships from a 11-6 goals aggregate.
