- Chamberlain will reportedly be offered a bumper four-year deal by Arsenal to fend off interest from Chelsea.
Arsenal will make a move to end speculation about the future of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain by offering him something closer to the wage he wants.
Chelsea have the sights set on the England international with a bid of £40m being made.
The Ox wants a significant wage increase and has accepted that it may have to come from elsewhere, but the Daily Star say the Gunners have offered a new four-year deal with £125,000-a-week.
It’s a big leap from the initial offer of £100,000-a-week.
