Arsenal‘s calamitous transfer window continues after Japanese centre-forward Takuma Asano was denied a work permit to play in the Premier League .
Arsene Wenger is under intense scrutiny with the Gunners failing to sign a proven goal scorer and the Japanese youngster’s inability to earn a work permit adds salt to injury.
Despite five caps to his name and an impressive series of performances for the Japanese Olympic team, he has not met the requirements to play in England.
