Cech will cost Arsenal £10m

Chelsea want £10million for Petr Cech, who has revealed he is looking to quit the club this summer.

Arsenal are keen on the 32-year-old Czech Republic international, while Liverpool could be left with a decision to make following the improved form of their Simon Mignolet.

Keeper Cech, who has mostly been on the bench behind new first-choice Thibault Courtois this season, said this week: “I’m used to playing 50 or 60 games a season, not 15 or 20. That’s a big difference.

“It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo. But that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like this.

“It is no secret that I want to play more. The situation is the same, it hasn’t changed. But at the end of the season it will be solved.”
