A woman who lost her nominated MCA seat through a successful election petition has appealed the court’s decision.
Hadija Juma, who was nominated by ODM party to represent the marginalised communities, moved to court saying her nomination was valid.
In the appeal, Ms Nganyi says the court erred by upholding nomination of members who did not make it to the final IEBC list.
In February, deputy registrar Benson Khapoya nullified her nomination and ordered the electoral commission to gazette the names of Schlarstica Shiraku and Feisal Abdi.
