Restore and Build Kenya (RBK) presidential aspirant James ole Kiyiapi has exuded confidence he would win  the March 4 presidential election.

Kiyiapi, who registered as a voter at Osupuko health centre in Kilgoris, dismissed the coalitions signed by various politicians, terming them a recipe for chaos.

He challenged Kenyans to shun the coalitions and instead vote for leaders based on their track records and integrity.

“The time for judging leaders on the number of people and masses he/she can mobilise is long gone and Kenyans should elect leaders based on their ability to deliver their expectations,” said Kiyiapi.

He hit out at those rushing to enter into coalitions, saying they were forming gangs to rob Kenyans of their resources.

He said the present and previous Governments had failed to take Kenyans to the ‘promised land’, adding the nation was in dire need of new crop of leaders.

Kiyiapi, who received blessings from church leaders and elders, urged Kenyans to remember the country in their payers, saying it was undergoing a difficult moment which needs God’s intervention.

“I would like church leaders and Kenyans at large to dedicate some times to pray for this nation because the country has been polarised by politicians pursuing selfish interests. Let us face the reality and deliver this nation from the shackles of poverty and corruption,” he said.
