Senior security man with ‘contacts in Government’ now desperate to keep job

A top official of one of the security agencies is said to be fighting tooth and nail to retain his plum post.

Those who work with the official have told Grapevine that the man is using all his contacts in government and those close to President Uhuru Kenyatta to ensure he is not retired, a matter that has not amused his juniors. 

It is understood that he has roped in a CS to assist him do his bidding.

His colleagues who work under him have been left wondering for how long the state official wants to stick in office as they continue mark-timing.
