County askaris pull down a billboard belonging to governorship candidate Hezron Awiti Bolo at Buxton in Mombasa.
The county government claims Mr Awiti did not follow the right procedures before putting up the billboard.
So far, two candidates have claimed that incumbent Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has denied them a chance to put up billboards in strategic places like he has.
According to Joho’s administration, however, the two complaining aspirants had sought approval to put up billboards very late, unlike the governor, who was cleared when the year started.
