Turkish authorities have detained 12 people over a suicide bomb attack in the northwestern city of Bursa that wounded eight, broadcasters NTV and CNN Turk said on Thursday.
Some of the 12 were detained outside of Bursa and brought to the province for questioning at the local police headquarters, CNN Turk said.
No other details were immediately available. Officials have yet to confirm who was behind the attack, in which eight people were wounded when a female suicide bomber blew herself up near the main mosque in Bursa on Wednesday.
The attack was the fifth suicide bombing in a major urban center this year. Two attacks this year in Istanbul, Turkey's largest city, have been blamed on Islamic State. Two in the capital, Ankara, were claimed by a Kurdish militant group.

Turkey has also faced attacks from far left groups, mostly on police and security forces. The Bursa attack happened a day after the United States warned American citizens in Turkey about credible terrorist threats to tourist areas.
Bursa is Turkey's fourth-largest city, an industrial hub directly south of Istanbul across the Marmara Sea. While not one of the country's biggest tourist destinations, it draws some foreign visitors with its Ottoman-era architecture.
