Kenyan producer and DJ, Creme de la Creme, is once again making a musical statement with his latest single, 'My Fire', a collaboration with mysterious Trinidadian singer, Julian Blackwood.

After six months of meticulous work, the highly anticipated track officially premieres today, marking a significant shift in DJ Creme's production style.

"We have been working on this for the last six months with an underground female artist from Trinidad called Julian Blackwood," DJ Creme says.

"We have four other tracks together, and I wanted to step away from the usual arbantone vibe and spread beautiful music to the world," he adds.

For DJ Creme, this collaboration signifies a bold new direction. "This is going to be a game-changer for me as a producer because I don't want to limit myself to the Kenyan market."

Having produced some of the biggest names in the East African music scene producing hits like 'Live It Up' by Redsan and Victoria Kimani, 'I Wanna Be' by Naiboi, 'Kufa Juu' by The Kansol, and 'Anguka Nayo' Beat by Wadagliz, his venture into international collaborations opens new doors.

But what makes 'My Fire' even more intriguing is the mystery surrounding Julian Blackwood. DJ Creme has never met her in person, and all their work has been done online.

"One of her instructions was that she never wants to show her face to the world," he reveals. "That's the way we want to position her brand. Think of this masked woman who'll be doing shows all over."

'My Fire' officially premiers today and Creme promises that with Julian Blackwood's persona, the track is set to make a lasting impact on the global music scene.
