Popular Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing has responded to claims she faked ownership of a sleek Mercedes Benz.

In a message on Sunday, July 7, Blessing wrote that she was attacked by bloggers on Saturday who are itching for her downfall.

“There are so many people waiting for that bad news about you, may they wait until they perish in Jesus name...Amen...To all those that fought for me on the blogs yesterday, may God give you a testimony that will sound like a lie,” wrote Blessing.

She was referring to was a cold war between her and an automobile dealer which prides himself in selling high-end vehicles.

According to Nigerian media, it started after Blessing took to Instagram and flaunted the white Benz as hers.

The dealer, Elle-Tee Automobile Ventures, however, called her out as a fake and proclaimed that the revamped Benz was actually theirs.

Elle –Tee shared that she was allegedly taking advantage of their aged bazaar owner who was reportedly not on Instagram to strike out her claim.

“Spot the difference people. You even forgot to cover the alloy wheels issorai..You better be real...I ain’t looking for no cheap attention. Nkechi stop misleading people.

“Just because you know my uncle is not on Instagram that’s why you did this forgetting Instagram is a small community.

"Although I learned you apologised already and taken down the picture but still it is wrong to mislead people," wrote the dealer.

She defended herself saying it was a misunderstanding and later summarily shut down the trolls as she recorded herself driving the car stating that she bought it from another dealer who “sells and swap” cars.

“Las Las D car na my own. And the Commentators still dey trek. Datboy Autos, nice doing business with you, but next time don’t do such,” she added.
