NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka failed to show up on the day he was to be ‘sworn in’ as the People’s Deputy President.
His no show has attracted funny memes from netizens as they seem to be questioning the motive behind his failing to appear.
NASA Chief Raila Odinga arrived at the Uhuru Park event flanked by Siaya Senator James Orengo, ODM Deputy Party leader Hassan Joho, Mvita MP Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir among other opposition leaders.
However, his fellow NASA co-principals Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka were conspicuously absent.
He went ahead and took the oath and promised the NASA supporters who had camped at the venue all day that his deputy, Kalonzo Musyoka, would be sworn in later on.
Mr Odinga took his oath administered by lawyers TJ Kajwang and Miguna Miguna.
