If an artist was to claim that 2015 was their best year ever, then Sauti Sol would perfectly fit that slot. From creating hit songs to award nominations popping out from right, left and center, Sauti Sol is arguably the best thing to have happened in the Kenyan music industry this year.
After the recent BET AWARDS nomination in the Best African Act category, they have received two nominations for the annually MTVMAMA 2015 in the Best Group and Song of the Year category for the song ‘Sura Yako’.
The group has also been nominated for the NEA- Nigeria Entertainment Awards for the African Artist of the Year Award.
The ‘Nerea’ hit makers won in the Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards, Best East African song category in the event that went down on Saturday the 13th of June 2015.
We will be rooting for our boys to bring back home all the awards they have been nominated in this year.
Voting for the MTVMAMA 2015 has already began and the awards will be going down on the Saturday of 18th July 2015 in Durban, South Africa.
