The Safaricom Investment Co-operative (SIC) plans to forge partnerships with county governments to offer affordable housing.
This was revealed during the launch of the Athi River Le Maiyan land project in Machakos County. SIC is already in talks with Kisumu,Uasin Gishu, Mombasa, Malindi and Kwale counties.
The co-operative boasts of a membership of 5,000 and capital base of Sh4 billion.
