PHOTOS: Nairobi County askaris rough up, harass motorcycle rider delivering goods

This man, who parked his motorcycle in a relatively free space to deliver goods for a client in Nairobi’s Mfangano Street, was roughed up by these county officials as they sought to arrest him.

In what could have been a polite understanding between this messenger and the county officials, it turned brutal when he met the wrath of the city council Askaris.

Here are some photos showing the county officials forcefully trying to drag the motorcycle rider into their vehicle.

His requests landed on deaf ears as they harassed and brutally put him at the back of the county vehicle.
