A head-on collision between a Mash East Africa passenger bus and a truck transporting cement at Pangani junction early on Saturday, March 31 caused a snarl up for a better part of the morning.
Both vehicles suffered extreme damage from the 7 am crash.
The driver of the bus had his legs trapped in the cabin’s wreckage but was eventually pulled off by witnesses.
There were no passengers on the bus but the truck driver succumbed to injuries.
Bystanders reported that the driver of the bus was overtaking leading to the accident.
