Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has yet again taken another swipe at National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.

This is after the former Prime Minister publicly announced that he would be sworn in as the “People’s President” on December 12 while addressing his supporters at Majanja Road, Eastlands.

On his Facebook page, Kuria wrote, “Vision 2052. Say a prayer for this man. He has lost it totally. It is illogical to expect him to check himself into a mental hospital. I may have to instruct his bodyguards to take him to Mathari. Purely on humanitarian basis...”

NASA leaders had earlier vowed to swear-in Raila as President the same day as President Uhuru’s inauguration ceremony.

However, he declined and instead, marshalled his supporters to hold a memorial service for police brutality victims at Jacaranda Grounds.

The NASA memorial service, which was supposed to take place in Embakasi East from 11am, failed to kick off after police sealed off the venue. It is said that unknown people poured human waste at the grounds.

“I will be sworn in as President of Kenya on Jamhuri Day (December 12) through the people’s assembly, and go to State House. We will meet to discuss the matter and direct on the way forward,” said the NASA leader.

Rails also told his supporters that he would not be inaugurated the same way as Uganda’s Kizza Besigye since he is not a coward and that the process would be similar to that of Zimbabwe’s new President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
