It seems Arsene Wenger doesn’t have control over his future after billionaire’s statement

One can argue that since the conception of the Premier League, one of the most successful coaches after Sir Alex Ferguson is Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger.

Over the years, Wenger has been the fans’ darling when his team wins trophies and switched to be the devil’s advocate if Arsenal goes on a poor run.

As the game of football continues to develop, more experienced pundits emerge and a large percentage of football pundits have been of the opinion that Wenger should leave the club.

However, Wenger has stood his ground, brabding Arsenal as a club that plays in a certain type of way – Cool and composed on the ball.

Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote has expressed his desire to take over at the London-based club, with his first plan of action being sacking Arsene Wenger.

Dangote hails from Nigeria and is about to complete the construction of an oil refinery in Nigeria’s capital, Lagos.

“The first thing I would change is the coach, he has done a good job, but someone else should also try his luck…” said the Africa billionaire.

Two people control most of Arsenal Football Club’s shares, Alisher Usmanov and Stan Kroenke holding 30 per cent and 66 per cent respectively. Dangote is close to securing a deal with the two shareholders and says that they would walk away once the right offer is on the table.

Arsene Wenger has been Arsenal’s Manager since 1996 and is the only manager in Premier League history to have ever completed a full season without losing a single game.

He signed a two-year contract extension after the end of last season, the FA cup win being critical in determining his stay.
