Police in Busia are holding two men aged 22 and 27 for breaking into a local supermarket and stealing goods and cash of unknown value.
Busia OCPD Bernard Kioko said the two are said to have broken into Frankmart supermarket on Sunday night, entering through the roof after making a hole on the iron sheets.
Mr Kioko added that the suspects who were arrested in Busia town on Monday morning were captured on CCTV cameras.
"We retrieved the CCTV footage which clearly identifies the two. They tried to cover some of the cameras with clothes but still their faces were recorded," said Kioko.
