Kenya is slowly but surely sliding into a brawn rather than a brain society. From lovers in the citadels of knowledge who should know better, mature and married couples to our pseudo leaders; everything must be solved through violence.
The homicides reported daily are so frequented they no longer elicit the jaw dropping effect, just a stifled yawn and everything else goes back to normal. Prominent people who are tear gas shy are squaring out on social media using language that my mother would not approve of.
We should purpose to resolve our differences in a much more dignified way. For a country that is prayerful with a prayer day to boot, it’s a shame that we are behaving more Neanderthal than primates.
Let’s style up and be civil, I don’t have any other place to call home.
