As Kenyatta University bids adieu to Prof. Olive Mugenda, the university Vice Chancellor has left a legacy in the varsity by transforming it from a centre for training in education to a multi-disciplinary institution.
After having served for a decade, Mugenda has shown how leaders should strive to change the face of the institutions they lead.
Under her tenure K.U now offers courses in Medicine, Law and Architecture which were not being offered before.
New buildings have been built without forgetting the KU Mall and the KU television station among others.
The Varsity has also grown by increasing satellite campuses.
