During a recent interview, Arsenal team-mate Olivier Giroud revealed how the squad refer to the Chilean, who has enjoyed an explosive start to life in the Premier League following the £30m switch from Barcelona.
Giroud did not go into detail as to why his strike partner has been compared to the battery brand, but you can only assume it is because of his ability to go on, and on…and on.
Or, is it because he is a fan of the famous bunny often used to promote the product?
‘Alexis, we call him ‘Duracell’, Giroud said.
‘He allies talent and determination.’
