Nakuru, Kenya: The High Court on Thursday extended temporary orders restraining the demolition of kiosks in Nakuru town. The court sitting in Nakuru also ordered that demolished structures should not be rebuilt till further directions are given.
Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria had obtained the order after filing a petition seeking to block the demolitions.
The court had earlier stopped demolition of stalls in the town and its environs pending the hearing of the case.
