Kakamega, Kenya: Tension grips Kakamega town Sunday morning as residents protest the murder and decapitation of a child near a Winner’s chapel church within the outskirts of the town.
Police had a difficult time dispersing angry mobs attempting to burn the church claiming the incident, which is the third of a similar nature, is connected to activities at the church located at Juakali area.
Multiple gunshots rent the air as police reinforcements were called in to close the church and disperse the demonstrators. Running battles disrupted activities in the town as businesses nearby closed their shops.
The body of the minor was discovered at the break of dawn with its head and limbs missing following the heinous act
