Narok, Kenya: Migori County’s Women Representative Dennitah Ghati has survived a horrific road accident in Ntulele area, 30 kilometres from Narok Town.
The Women Representative was rushing from Migori to Nairobi to attend a parliamentary committee session when both wheels of the right hand side of her car burst forcing the vehicle to roll severally about 200 metres off the road.
“I got a tyre burst at the front and back that made the car roll several times to the right side of the road before hitting a cliff on the road reserve,” the shaken driver of the Toyota Prado told The Standard.
The accident that happened around 11.50am caught the attention of road users and passersby who rushed to the mangled car, forced entry before rescuing the injured occupants. The car bonnet had smashed the wind screen of the car from the impact of the crush. Witnesses say they saw the car flying in the air before hitting the cliff and overturning.

Several documents including the constitution and her campaign materials for the ODM Secretary publicity and Information position and consumables including sugarcane and maize flour were scattered around the scene.
