Jose Mourinho: Manchester United will finally sell Wayne Rooney in the summer

Jose Mourinho says Manchester United are ready to sell Wayne Rooney at the end of the season – but he has dismissed Chelsea’s chances of signing the striker.

Mourinho made Rooney his top transfer target over the summer, but despite lodging three separate bids for his services, United refused to sell.

The Blues boss now says that he expects David Moyes will finally offload the England international at the end of the season, but Chelsea will not be in the running for his signature.
