KENYA: John Ngoa, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) North Coast Chairman, has challenged suspended football officials to present evidence of alleged misappropriation of funds during the forth coming Special General Meeting.

FKF has four of its officials suspended and Ngoa is on the forefront urging those serving the ban to arm themselves with evidence on allegations of misappropriation of funds at the federation to be presented before the delegates in the SGM.

Speaking from Malindi, Ngoa said that the four suspended officials stand a chance of being reinstated if they have touchable evidence to exonerate them of any blame during their tenure at the FKF offices.

“The suspended officials should carry their own cross and convince the delegates they were clean for them to be pardoned,” said Ngoa.

“The officials in question should wait for the SGM to determine their future in the federation.”

He said several issues would be deliberated during the planned SGM and wanted the affected officials to come and argue their case before the delegates.

“Ngoa as a person cannot deliberate on behalf of the entire delegates,” he said.

FKF Vice President Sammy Sholei, NEC members Hussein Terry, Tom Alila and FKF Nairobi branch Chairman Dan Shikanda are serving indefinite suspension slapped on them for various offenses during their tenure at the FKF.

Also to voice his concern was the Aariff Baghazal, the technical director of the Admiral Football Club, a Mombasa based FKF Division One side, who said the SGM will help solve the current crisis affecting the federation.

“We want to solider on and promote football. If we have officials who are not in working relation with the federation, then we need to co-opt other people who are ready to work,” said Baghazal.

He added that coast region and the entire nation stand to benefit should the former Kenya Football Federation Vice Chairman Twaha Mbarak return to football administration.
